General overviews of compensation and benefits including salary levels, package compositions and average increases are readily available from the major benefit consulting firms. However, there are instances where smaller organisations and more specialist firms require greater depth of information which is not easily obtained.
The nature of our work as an Executive Search practice affords us a clear and unbiased view of the salary levels, benefit packages and incentive plan structures within the Insurance and Reinsurance markets.
Should a client have retained the services of another firm for a search that proved fruitless, we are well placed to conduct a fixed fee research project to ascertain the likelihood of a fresh process being successful.
Clients will receive a report detailing the available talent in that segment; which candidates identified are interested in entertaining a move in the next six months; their contractual restrictions; and approximate compensation needs including potentially buying out deferred compensation for example.
Once this report has been delivered the client is able to decide whether to proceed with a full search, or whether to halt the process. In the latter case, no further fee will be due.

On occasion certain situations may dictate that a full search is not required from the off, common reasons being unfamiliarity with a market or its influencing factors. These also happen to be the most prominent causes of the significantly high proportion of searches that fail, across all sectors.
Therefore, we can execute and deliver a meticulous due diligence report of a market or organisation(s) before the commencement of a full search, so our clients do not have to.
